Food at Biggin Hall

Breakfast

A Full English and Continental Breakfast is served in the dining room between 8.00a.m. and 9.00a.m.

Full English Breakfast - Bacon, Sausages, Tomato, Mushrooms, Baked Beans, Fried Bread, selection of Eggs and Kippers on request.

Continental Breakfast includes a choice from:

  • A very extensive variety of Cereals, Brans, Prunes, Muesli and Dried Tropical Fruits and Porridge.
  • Selection of Fruit Juices
  • Homemade Brioches and Croissants
  • Jams, Marmalades and Honey. Toast.
  • Tea, Coffee or Hot Chocolate.

Lunch - served 12pm - 2pm

Large Selection of Hot & Cold Dishes

Afternoon Tea - served 2pm - 5pm

  • Selection of Sandwiches
  • Selection of homemade Cakes and Scones
  • Clotted or Whipped Cream
  • Tea & freshly ground Coffee
  • Served in the Lounges or on the Lawn (weather permitting)

Dinner

Served at 7.00p.m., this is one of the highlights of your stay, when the open fire, excellent food, and a good selection of wines, all combine to create a convivial atmosphere for an enjoyable meal. Many guests return year after year to sample the delights of our traditional home cooking. Much of the food is of local origin with the accent on free range wholefoods and natural flavours, together with a seasonal selection of vegetables.

Meals are imaginatively planned and freshly cooked. The menus feature a set course with vegetarian alternative, and are changed daily to give a wide variety of traditional country house fare through the week. We are happy to assist with any special dietary requests, given prior notice.
