At Biggin Hall Country House Hotel we offer the best located and luxuriously furnished bed and breakfast or full board accommodation.  The hotel is in a magnificent setting close to Hartington and Dovedale, with the pretty market towns of Ashbourne, Bakewell and Buxton all within a 20 minute drive of the hotel.

In the Main House our most atmospheric accommodation is the 'Master Suite' - a luxurious four poster bedded room.  In addition to the Master Suite, there are six double / twin bedrooms in the main house, each with their own bathrooms en suite, plus a suite of two rooms sharing an adjoining bathroom for larger parties.

Well behaved dogs are welcome in The Courtyard where there are en suite eight double / twin bedrooms plus a suite of two rooms sharing an adjoining bathroom and in The Lodge three double/twin bedrooms plus a single room

Guest rooms are spacious and individually furnished with antiques and many of our guests return year on year for the tranquility offered in the small village of Biggin, the access to some amazing walking and cycling and the warm welcome they receive when joining us for a Peak District holiday.

  • All have a colour TV, tea making facilities, telephone and a silent fridge.
  • The constraints imposed by a Grade II (starred) listed building have made it impossible to provide proper disabled access for any bedrooms or bathrooms.
  • There are small steps outside all of The Courtyard ground floor rooms. Also into the Main House and between the sitting room and dining room.
  • Dogs are allowed in the Courtyard and Lodge rooms, but are not allowed in any part of the main house, dining or sitting rooms. Please  let us know at the time of booking if you wish to bring your dog(s) with you to ensure you are allocated a 'dog friendly' room.

Child Policy:

We welcome children aged 12 and over.  Past experience has shown Biggin Hall is not suitable for young children.
